- A guide only when it helps
- Red lines cut. If an accent or a dot stands apart from the tree, a blue line on the backer marks where it goes.
- One ornament per file
- All the names form a single tree with its backer beside it, ready to place on a sheet.
Questions about the tree ornament generator
Designing and previewing is free and needs no account. Downloading the SVG, 3MF and STL files and opening the design in the editor is included in every VectorWitch plan, with no limit on downloads.
Up to 12 names of up to 16 letters each. They are set in capitals and sorted from the shortest to the longest, so any list becomes a tree.
Any laser cutter that opens SVG, and craft cutters for thin sheet. The file opens in LightBurn, in Cricut Design Space, and in Silhouette Studio Designer Edition or higher (the free Basic edition does not open SVG). It is drawn in real millimetres and red lines mark every cut.
Yes. Letters and rows overlap, and letters that still stand apart are thickened slightly until they join. Small accents that cannot reach are marked on the backer so you can glue them in place. A 3D print file is available too.
