Questions about the football ornament generator
Designing and previewing is free and needs no account. Downloading the SVG, 3MF and STL files and opening the design in the editor is included in every VectorWitch plan, with no limit on downloads.
Type one player per line, the name followed by the number, up to 30 players. The team and the year are typed once and go on every ornament, and all of them are laid out in one file.
The year, the team, the name and the number are engraved on the top layer. Everything else is cut: the ball, the bands, the laces, the player and the hanging hole. In the file, engraving is filled black and cuts are red lines.
3 mm plywood for both layers: a light wood such as birch on top so the engraving reads well, and a dark wood, a stained sheet or brown acrylic for the ball behind it.
A name can have 16 letters and a team 28. Long texts are made smaller to stay on the player's back and inside the band, so shorter is easier to read.
